Optimise your performance, health and wellness.
What is IV Therapy?
IV Therapy involves the introduction of various nutrients directly into the bloodstream, which can help increase the absorption of these nutrients in the body when compared to taking them orally.
While these treatments are not currently indicated to treat specific medical conditions, IV Therapy aims to increase overall health by supplementing vitamins, minerals and compounds that may be deficient or low in your system, thus improving general well-being and potentially assisting in physical and mental performance, boosting the immune system and combating fatigue.
Want to get the most out of your training or improve your physical performance?
Leading a busy work life or spending a lot of time travelling and flying?
What is IV Therapy used for?
Below are some of the more common uses for IV Therapy at NuaCell. This list is by no means exhaustive, however what is important to note is that in each case clients are examined individually before a recommendation is made for any treatment. This will generally involve a consultation and blood testing to identify any deficiencies.
These treatments are not intended to treat specific medical conditions or to replace any current medical or surgical options, but are directed at improving general health, wellness and helping to optimise physical and mental performance.
Supplement your immune system with vitamins and minerals designed to help you stay healthy and well.
What’s in the Bag?
At NuaCell each treatment is prepared according to the specific requirements of the client. There are a range of combination drips available which cover a wide variety of the requirements of the vast majority of clients, from those seeking a break from fatigue, to athelte’s and sportspeople looking for an extra boost, to those who simply want to recover faster from a rough weekend!
In addition to this, at NuaCell you have the option of including multiple extra ingredients into the treatment to target any specific requirements of a client based on examination and blood tests.
Some of the common ingredients found in the IV Therapy treatment bags include:
Vitamin C, Vitamin B3, B5, B6, B12, Magnesium Chloride, Glutathione, Zinc, Calcium Chloride, Potassium, Selenium, Arginine, Taurine, Lycine, Carnitine
The data on IV Therapy.
IV Therapy is not a medical treatment, nor is it intended for treatment of disease, injury, mental illness or similar.
There is currently very little scientific data to support the use of IV Therapy using intravenous vitamins, amino acids etc for any specific indications. Lacking this hard peer-reviewed evidence, claims of treating illness are largely unfounded.
However, the supplemental use of vitamins is well researched, and the effects and benefits of these compounds on a cellular level is extensively documented. It is also widely acknowledged that by increasing an individual’s general health and nutrition, which can be achieved with IV Therapy, it is possible to improve that person’s resilience against disease, increase energy levels, enhance quality of sleep and generally help the person to feel better.
Once these treatments are used in a safe and ethical way, and once anyone undergoing the treatment is well informed as to the actual data and science behind the approach, IV Therapy can be used very effectively as part of an overall lifestyle plan to enhance that ‘feel good factor’, and this can lend itself to improvements in areas such as mood, mental sharpness, physical or athletic performance and many other areas of personal improvement.
