Aesthetic Treatments

How can regenerative medicine help?

Wrinkles and lines, hair loss, collagen depletion, sagging skin, loss of volume, these are some of the symptoms of the natural ageing process. These changes happen in bone, cartilage, tendons, soft tissues, supporting fat and the skin itself. On top of this, these processes can be accelerated and worsened by external factors like stress, diet, environment and medical conditions. Stem-cell-based interventions can provide a ‘natural’ solution for those who want to slow down, prevent or even reverse these effects of time, by rebuilding and rejuvenating the tissues in specific areas of the body. These treatments are often used in conjunction with or even instead of traditional approaches like fillers, surgical interventions, botox etc to create a more youthful and natural appearance.

How do the the Aesthetic treatments work?

The basis for these regenerative treatments is similar across the board, with the goal being to stimulate growth factor release and stem-cell activation in a particular area, growing new tissue and cells and creating a younger and improved appearance. With aesthetic treatments, it is important to understand that the condition being treated is generally a result of ageing, and so will need to be managed on a continuous basis. Unlike injury management for example, aesthetic treatments are usually prescribed over a longer period of time, with an initial intervention period and then a maintenance program, to both ensure the continued renewal of the tissue, and prevent further degeneration in the area if it is possible.

Aesthetic Treatments

Below are some of the more common aesthetic conditions, for both men and women, treated at NuaCell. This list is by no means exhaustive, however what is important to note is that each case is examined individually before a recommendation is made for any treatment. This will generally involve a physical examination and detailed discussion on the expected outcomes. While these treatments can reduce the need for other interventions in some cases, a holistic approach needs to be taken, considering all options that may benefit the client.
